Dr. Alexandra Mikroulea
Alexandra Mikroulea, born in 1968, is an As. Professor of Intellectual Property and Antitrust Law, Banking and Insurance Law in the Law Faculty of the University of Athens and a member of the Athens Bar Association (admitted 1992).
She graduated from the Law School of Athens in 1991 and was awarded her doctoral thesis on Antitrust Law from the University of Munich in 1994 (summa cum laude).
She has been an associate of the legal department of the Hellenic Competition Committee from 1997 to 2001 and a full member of the Board of Hellenic Competition Committee, from September 2001 to October 2003, where she handled cases of concerted practices, abuse of dominant position and concentrations).
She has been a member of Max-Planck Institute of Munich for International Patent Law, Industrial Property and Competition from 1991 to 1994 and from August 1998 to December 1998. In her multiple activities she has also been a member of the law-making committees on issues pertaining to signs, consumer protection and insurance laws, a member of ASCOLA (Academic Society for Competition Law), a regular collaborator of: the monthly law review "Company and Business Law" (in Greek) and the quarterly law review "Commercial Law Review" (in Greek), a member of the editing board of the law review "Private Insurance Law Review" (in Greek) and a member of the Association of Commercial Law Attorneys.
Alexandra Mikroulea is the author of numerous papers and books on Antitrust Law, Unfair Competition Law, Patent Law, Industrial Property, Trade Mark Law and Banking Law and has many remarks on decisions regarding antitrust law in Greek law reviews.
She serves as a counsel at the Legal Service of the National Bank of Greece and a senior partner in Mikroulea-Chrissanthis law firm in Athens.
Areas of expertise: Antitrust Law, Unfair Competition Law, Patent Law, Industrial Property, Trade Mark Law and Banking Law.

Xenia Chardalia, LL.M.
Xenia Chardalia, LL.B., LL.M. has studied Law in the UK. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Chardalia obtained her LL.B. (University of Leicester) as well as her LL.M (University of Bristol) and has become member of the Athens Bar Association. Hence, in addition to her law practice in Greece, she is also familiar with the English legal system and common law principles. Ms. Chardalia has extensive expertise in handling intellectual property issues that arise in different types of transactions with an emphasis on licensing, transactional matters and privacy issues. She also regularly advises on trademark patent litigation and registration matters involving disputes relating to intellectual property, licenses and commercial contracts.
Her other main fields of interest, which she has been practising in are Company Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Insurance Law.
Ms. Chardalia has also a strong knowledge of accounting, taxation and negotiation practices.

Ioanna Gavra, LL.M., graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (LL.B.) and obtained her LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of London (Queen Mary, C.C.L.S.).
